Hello Ms.
Stella, I’m happy if you want to read my personal experiences. Before I explain
about myself, I want to say I’m happy because you can be my lecturer of English’s
softskill in this semester. This is the first task of English’s softskill anyway, and I will
explain about myself. My name is Devi Ristyana. I’m the second child of two
siblings. I have one brother, and now he has been getting job. So, my parents
just still have to fund me. My daily routine are cooking, go to campus, and do
anything in home. I usually wake up early morning, after that I prepare breakfast
for my family before go to campus. On Sunday, I teach street childrens in
Bekasi. I’m so happy can teach the childrens. They are so excited too if I and
my friend teach them. After we have done teaching them, we usually give them
snacks. These are just a little bit of my daily routine.
I will explain
about my other side of myself. I’m not a smart girl. In the case of lesson, I’m
hard to be responsive. Maybe I need an explain until several times. When I was
child I have a dream, my dream was to be a policewoman. After I graduated from
school, I tried to do a policewoman’s exam, but I’m failed. Finally I decided
to go to college in Gunadarma University. When I was in the first semester
untill the fourth semester, much time is wasted because I'm lazy. I had tried to do
laboratory’s assistant until several times, maybe 4 times, but I’m failed. I didn’t
take the organization too. And now I just realized that the organizational
experience is important. Because we not only gain knowledge from the class, we
also need knowledge from outside. So, since I’m in the fifth semester I start
to do anything I can do, like teaching the street childrens. And now I try to
find experiences.
